Composition: P3 (a)

I used a 7D camera to took some photos.I'm pleased with some of them but there are a lot of improvement I can do.

 

This photo follows the rule of thirds.The point of interest are the trees.Both of the trees are on the vertical lines.The roof is on the first horizontal line.There is a walkway between two trees which lies on the second horizontal line.The horizontals lines also cut the picture into three different parts in proportional which are the sky part,building part and the ground part.

   The colourful flowers also is the leading line of the photo.

In this photo,there is a curvy leading line which is the stair handrail.It really enhances the photo composition and makes the photo look more interesting.

This is a really interesting photo.First of all,there are only two colours in this photo (red and yellow),but the photo is not monotonous.The background is the ceiling in yellow and the main project,the foothold is in red colour.This is a really well colour matching and it makes the red part stand out from the yellow part.Secondly,the foothold is also the leading lines of the photo.

The three horizontal lines divided this photo into three different horizontal parts,the roof of the building and the top of the celling,the cars,and the ground respectively.The flower beds also are the leading lines which distinguished the ground and the cars.

This photo follows the rule of thirds.First of all,the two vertical lines divided the photo into 3 segments and their are two main subjects which are the left part (the ceiling) and the right part (the plants and building).Between these two parts,there is a road which can be considered as a leading line.

In this photo,the colourful flowers become the leading line of this photo.It distinguished the road and the lawn.

In this photo,because it is a single color of the wall and there are colourful flowers,so it follows the background rule.It allow the flowers stand out and attract people's eye.But there is a big improvement which is I also should use the rule of thirds.When I took the photo,I should squat and make the flower beds at the points where the lines intersect.

The point of interest of interest is the first building and it lies on the lans intersect.The Road also becomes the leading lines.In addition,there is balancing elements,the building placed off-centre,and leaved a void in the scene which gives people a feeling of empty.

The main subjects the flowers,so I used cropping and it allows the flowers eliminate the background "noise",and because of these flowers are so colourful,I think it will attract viewer's attention.

The point of interest are the plants.Therefore, the plants are in the first vertical line crosses with both horizontal lines.As a result,this photo follows the rule of thirds.It also follows the balancing elements,the flower bed placed in the off-centre,as with rule of thirds.
